FortiGuard Labs Threat Intelligence – Gaming Cards/ Giveaway/ SWAG
We are currently working on an exciting project for FortiGuard Labs Threat Intelligence, leveraging AI tools like MidJourney to enhance visual storytelling and engagement. This initiative focuses on representing cyber threat actors—the adversaries that Fortinet’s security solutions are designed to detect and prevent from breaching digital defenses.
As part of this campaign, we are developing game-style character cards that serve multiple purposes: increasing engagement and awareness, supporting incentive programs, and educating a younger audience about cybersecurity threats. Each card features a unique threat actor and hero, visually interpreted based on our own creative vision while maintaining a style that resonates with both adults and younger audiences.
To create a compelling narrative, we designed original protagonists—cybersecurity heroes who combat these threat actors—each with a rich backstory. MidJourney allowed us to establish a cohesive and dynamic visual identity across all characters, ensuring consistency while making the content visually appealing and accessible. By merging creativity with education, this project not only raises awareness but also makes learning about cybersecurity engaging and fun for all.

Fortinet Icon Library and Diagrams
As Art Director, I collaborated closely with our CMO, VP of Marketing, and Product Marketing Management team to develop a comprehensive, scalable iconography system that seamlessly aligns with our brand’s visual identity. This initiative not only focused on creating a distinctive and cohesive icon library but also established a structured online repository for effortless internal and external access.
The previous iconography style lacked consistency, failed to align with our evolving brand aesthetic, didn't use a grid system, and presented challenges in scalability—particularly at smaller sizes, where thick line weights and excessive detail compromised legibility. This redesign addressed these issues, creating a more streamlined and adaptable system that elevates both functionality and storytelling.
By prioritizing clarity, consistency, grid, and usability, this project enhances brand recognition and strengthens communication across all platforms. Additionally, we aimed to refine our diagrammatic approach, ensuring a cleaner, more systematic visual language that effectively conveys complex ideas both internally and externally.
